Come up with a winning idea and transform it into a successful product.
This experimental project got under way at the end of the 1970s, before going on to become a tool - called "The Idea Bank" - geared towards making the most of the innovative concepts of companies and inventors; that tool has now been renamed "Brain Provider".
The project was initiated with great enthusiasm by founder Gianfranco Strocchi, who put together an R&D team and gave it the task of meeting "brainboxes" and evaluating their ideas and designs, which more and more often came to be submitted simply by word-of-mouth.
Since then, several thousand inventors have been interviewed, thousands of projects and patents have been examined and more than a thousand brainboxes - each with specific expertise in the consumer goods sector - have been "selected". These brainboxes and their ideas have now been made available via this site, with a view to enabling registered companies to grow, innovate and create new products.
With our support, these brainboxes have built up a plethora of successful companies, many of which have gone on to become household names, and they have created myriad products that have sold in their millions.
We are talking about the type of innovation that, even today, very few companies can manage to generate internally without investing massive resources. The only option is to search for input and ideas from outside. As such, it is essential to work with a partner that has the tools and expertise required to match up supply and demand in terms of Innovation.
This, in a nutshell, is Brain Provider's mission.
